밴쿠버 경찰은 올해 15번째의 살인 희생자인 사체를 대형 재활용통에서 18일 오전 발견했다고 밝혔다. 시민들로부터 다수의 신고 전화를 접수했던 것으로 알려졌다. 비씨주 검시국(BC Coroner's Service)은 사체가 사람의 유해임을 확인했다.
발견 장소는 키츠포인트(Kits Point)로 키칠라노 해변 공원(Kitsilano Beach Park)과 바니어 공원(Vanier Park) 사이다.
